The "Measurement Certification Business" is a service that issues certificates to publicly prove that the measured values of air, water quality, soil, noise sound pressure levels, and vibration acceleration levels, related to pollution regulations, are accurate values, upon request from third parties. To do this, it is necessary to receive registration from the governor of the prefecture that has jurisdiction over the location of each business establishment, in accordance with Article 106 of the Measurement Law and the business categories specified by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.
